@TIME We need a mandatory NATIONAL MASK mandate , and need to actually ENFORCE social distancing and mask wearing. We need the police to actually write tickets and give actual warnings for people breaking the rules.

@TIME Will people be motivated to use these lower quality tests if the accuracy is questionable? Will they still take precautions to protect others if they "trust" the results, which may not be accurate? A solution to a population wide problem only works if everyone gets on board.

@TIME Every country that has gotten this virus under control did so w/high sensitivity tests; the Mina paper states these tests offer only a marginal improvement. This policy Rx is for pop. control, it misses role of PCR testing for high at risk people who need accurate results.

@TIME There needs to be a role for PCR tests & rapid tests, both should play a role, why can't rapid tests be used for surveillance testing, PCR tests for indiv. testing? The real problem here is that we can't test our way out of this pandemic if people do not change their behaviors.

@TIME "Our goal should be to identify and prevent every cluster and every outbreak of COVID-19." This reads to me like the cluster strategy used in Japan, There was not a good reaction from the public there, that led to a push for and adoption of widespread PCR testing for individuals.
